About
We are addicted to skincare, so you don't have to be.
Science-backed. Paid-placement-free. Built for people who want to know what actually works. not what sells.
There's too much skincare content, and almost none of it is honest. Most sites are either running on affiliate commissions (so they love everything), selling their own products (so they hate the competition), or written by people who haven't actually used what they're recommending.
We built sskin.care because we couldn't find a single resource that treats skincare the way it deserves to be treated. like health, not like fashion. Every article here starts with research papers. Every product recommendation has been tested for at least six weeks. Every ingredient guide is reviewed by a practising dermatologist before it goes live.
We don't sell products. We don't accept free samples in exchange for reviews. We don't run sponsored content. Our only revenue comes from clearly-marked affiliate links (which don't change what we recommend) and our reader-supported newsletter.
If we're wrong about something, we update the article and tell you in the edit notes. If a brand improves, we say so. If a brand regresses, we say that too. That's it. That's the whole thing.
How We Work
Our editorial standards.
01
Research first.
Every claim is backed by at least one peer-reviewed study. We link to the original source. If the research is weak, we say so.
02
Tested in real life.
Minimum six weeks of testing before any product review. In Indian climate. On real Indian skin tones.
03
Dermatologist-reviewed.
Every ingredient guide and clinical article is reviewed by a board-certified dermatologist before publication.
04
No paid placements.
Zero. Ever. No brand has ever paid us to say something. Affiliate links exist but don't influence verdicts.
